For 8 months of 2022, 414 million transactions worth more than 36 billion lari were carried out using Georgian plastic cards in Georgia and abroad. In the same period last year, this figure was significantly lower and amounted to 230 million transactions in the amount of 8 billion lari.
The number of operations both within Georgia and abroad has grown significantly.
In particular, over 8 months of 2022, 392 million transactions worth 32.6 billion lari were carried out with cards in Georgia, and 22 million transactions worth 3 billion lari outside the country.
